Runs The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
The game runs, but it's plagued by slowdowns and crashes caused by visual effects.
What happened
Compared to build-95, I was able to get past the introduction to Link’s dream, but in that opening cutscene, I’m still experiencing a lag between the video and the audio (in other words, the scene has barely started showing Link in his dream, and I’m already hearing the Hyrule Gate crashing down, the horses galloping, and Ganondorf’s theme playing in the background). In the previous build (95), the lag was worse. Now the lag is much less than before.
Well, let’s talk about the game itself now—it’s crashing a lot on my device. In scenes, like the one with the Great Deku Tree, it teeters on the edge of crashing whenever a character speaks or makes a sound; sometimes the scenes even play on without music. Scenes with a lot of visual effects generally cause the frame rate to drop completely.
Anyway, the game is too unplayable right now to make any real progress.
How far they got
I played until Link was woken up by Navi, before talking to Saria.
