Runs The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Somewhat playable, but building shaders tends to kill it
What happened
No crashes. Everything seems to "work" and have not seen any visual artifacts.
I have not made it very far at all. In the initial cutscenes, everything is rock solid and smooth. But when it gets to the cutscene with the great deku tree speaking, it is super choppy. I believe as soon as the game begins building shaders, the scenes are completely garbled. I ran around the treehouse for a few minutes until I stopped getting Building Shaders in the corner. Running in circles tends to get me 40-60FPS with occasional dips under 40 if it catches new shaders. But as soon as you leave the tree house and go to begin the game, it is all garbled again.
I realize that with AMD, finding full shader files for a 7900XT configuration could take a while. But other games using ASTC don't always behave this poorly. I would not recommend it yet to someone who is really trying to enjoy the game. However, if an uninterrupted at the framerate I'm getting - shaders aside - I would say it is playable.
Could not attach log files as it slightly exceeds 512 KB.
How far they got
Only made it through the initial cutscenes and let shaders build in the treehouse / start of real gameplay.
